On the edge of the Bergisches Land lies the beautiful cultural asset of Schloss Grünewald, a stylish and romantic courtyard estate from the 15th century. This year, the Christmas market will take place here for the 20th time!

The historic park is transformed into a magical dream world like every year during the Advent season. Crunching fire pits, a sea of string lights, and trees full of stars create a cozy warm atmosphere.
Torches along the path lead you in the twilight to the tent of the Wish List Fairy - here, not only the little visitors are allowed to write down their deepest wishes and send them up to the sky with moon dust.
A musician angel on stilts, the scent of homemade stick bread, and the Knusperhexe's little house make all the children's eyes light up.

Even larger visitors are quickly drawn into the unique spell of the Advent Dream – wintery trumpet sounds, exciting mouse roulette or archery, as well as the spectacular fire show in the castle park leave no wishes for activities unfulfilled.

One hundred exhibitors, including some manufacturers, local businesses, and retailers, will showcase their products in the areas of art, craftsmanship, fashion, enjoyment, and design. With this wonderful selection of products, no gift wishes remain unfulfilled, and one must ask - why not treat yourself to something nice too?
Some exhibitors switch from one weekend to the other.

The experience is rounded out by sophisticated gastronomy and many delicacies, such as Alsatian flammkuchen, Swiss raclette, flammlachs, Grünewalder Eierpunsch, and fluffy Kaiserschmarrn. Wander through the winter wonderland and enjoy the peaceful Advent season with your loved ones.

Fridays: 2 to 9 pm (doors open until 8 pm!)
Saturdays & Sundays: 11am – 8pm (last entry at 7pm!)

Ticket prices
- Children up to and including 16 years old are admitted free of charge (with a (student) ID, if applicable)!
Discounted tickets (€8.00) for severely disabled people with ID card B available at the box office (note: the grounds are not accessible!).
- Season tickets for €20.00 are available exclusively at the box office and grant admission on any day from the 1st to the 4th of Advent (only with personal identification!).

The daily ticket entitles you to a single entry to the Christmas market on any day (1st-4th Advent from Friday to Sunday).

Dogs on leashes are welcome!

Directions tip:
Use our historic bus shuttle from the Dyckerfeld industrial area/Lindgesfeld stop on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 2:55 PM. Parking is available along Dyckerfeld Street. The bus ticket for round-trip travel costs €2.
